Annual Boots & Badges Blood Drive

First responders save lives every day. Now you have a chance to make a life-saving difference in your community — and show your support for these dedicated individuals!

Our Blood Institute is partnering with Newcastle's first responders for our annual Boots & Badges Blood Drive.

It's a fun, family-friendly competition to see which group can recruit the most blood donors. All blood donors will have the chance to vote for either the Boots (firefighters), Badges (police officers) or Gurneys (emergency medical services) — with the agency with the most votes earning bragging rights. But the day's real winners will be our region's hospital patients — every blood donation made at this drive can help as many as three people across Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas!

Show your support and donate blood from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, at the Newcastle Storm Shelter, 851 N Carr Drive, Newcastle, OK 73065.

While supplies last, successful donors will receive:
* A special "Back the Brave" T-shirt celebrating our local first responders — only available at Boots & Badges drives like this one!
* Vouchers for two free entries to Frontier City or Hurricane Harbor.
