Newcastle, Oklahoma is a vibrant community that offers a variety of events for residents and visitors to enjoy throughout the year. In 2023, residents and visitors can look forward to a range of exciting activities, from holiday celebrations to outdoor adventures.

The year kicks off with the Newcastle Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 1st. Children of all ages are invited to participate in this annual event, where they will search for hidden eggs filled with treats and prizes.

The Citywide Garage Sale will be held from Thursday, April 27th to Saturday, April 29th. This is a great opportunity for residents to declutter their homes and for visitors to find unique and one-of-a-kind items.

On Saturday, May 6th, the Farmer's & Artisan Market opens its doors for the season. Visitors can browse and purchase locally grown produce and handmade crafts from a variety of vendors. The same day, the Newcastle Splash Pad opens, offering a fun and refreshing way to beat the heat during the summer months.

Memorial Day will be observed on Monday, May 29th with a ceremony at the Cemetery. This day is an opportunity to honor and remember the sacrifices made by those who have served our country.

The Newcastle Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, June 10th, giving young anglers of all ages the chance to compete for prizes and bragging rights.

The Red, White, & Blue Fest on Saturday, July 1st, is a celebration of Independence Day and the perfect way to spend a summer evening with friends and family.

On Saturday, September 9th, Kites & Bites will be held, a fun-filled event where visitors can enjoy kite flying, food, and drinks.

The Farmer's & Artisan Market will conclude for the year on Saturday, September 30th, but the fun continues with Haunt the Trail on Saturday, October 28th, where visitors can enjoy a spooky and exciting experience.

The year concludes with Christmas in the Park and Parade on Saturday, December 2nd, a festive event that includes a parade, holiday music, and a visit from Santa Claus.
