Celebrate the Season of Giving with the 12 Days of Grinchmas Blood Drive

This December, the City of Newcastle invites its residents to embrace the holiday spirit in a truly meaningful way. As part of the festive "12 Days of Grinchmas" event, a special blood drive will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the Newcastle Storm Shelter, 851 N Carr Drive, from 1 pm to 6 pm.

In a unique blend of community service and holiday cheer, each blood donor will receive a copy of a Dr. Seuss Grinch book, a perfect keepsake or a thoughtful gift for a child in need this holiday season. This initiative not only promotes the joy of reading but also supports the crucial need for blood donations during the holiday period.

Additionally, to add more festive joy, donors will be gifted a cozy, long-sleeve holiday t-shirt, available while supplies last. This token of appreciation is a small way to thank our community members for their invaluable contribution.

Blood donation is a simple yet powerful way to make a significant impact on the lives of others. The City of Newcastle encourages all eligible and healthy individuals to participate. A Photo ID is required for all donors.
