Citywide Cemetery Cleanup Scheduled for April 6, 2026

The City of Newcastle will conduct a cemetery cleanup on April 6, 2026 at Newcastle Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

During the cleanup, the following items will be removed from cemetery spaces:

• Dead or faded flowers
• Food or drink items
• Tobacco products

To support ongoing maintenance efforts, all other decorations and personal items must be placed only within the concrete base or headstone area. Items placed outside of these areas will be removed.

This cleanup helps maintain the appearance, safety, and upkeep of the cemetery grounds. Residents are encouraged to remove any personal items they wish to keep prior to April 6.
