The buzz is real, and the ghosts are almost here! Newcastle's "Haunt the Trail 2023", scheduled for October 28th from 4PM-7PM at Veterans Park, is calling all local businesses and civic groups to come and add a sprinkle of spook and a dollop of delight.

"Our 'Haunt the Trail' is more than just costumes and candy. It's where the heartbeat of Newcastle gets a little...spookier," chuckles Parks Director, Kyle Marks. "Every booth is a chance to charm the community, whether with treats, tricks, games, or tasty bites from your food truck."

Marks continues, "Let's make it a night to remember. We’re inviting every business group, ghoul, and ghost to be part of this enchanting evening. Because at the heart of it all, it's about giving the families and children of Newcastle a magical and safe Halloween experience."

Should a storm try to spook us, the Parks Department has some Halloween magic up its sleeve to ensure the treats and festivities carry on.
