Published: Wednesday, April 23, 2025

Get ready to turnip the fun and squash your grocery store blues—the Newcastle Farmers & Artisans Market is back!

Kicking off its 2025 season on Saturday, May 3, the market will fill Veterans Park with the sights, sounds, and fresh flavors of Oklahoma’s best every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM through October.

From crisp, locally grown produce to handmade crafts and one-of-a-kind artisan goods, the market offers a little something for everyone. Shoppers can expect farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, home-baked treats, local honey, jams, jellies, handmade jewelry, art, and more—all set against the backdrop of Newcastle’s welcoming community vibe.

“This market is more than just a place to shop—it’s where neighbors meet, stories are shared, and the heartbeat of our town comes alive,” said Kyle Marks, Director of Parks and Recreation. “Supporting local farmers and artisans strengthens our community, and it doesn’t hurt that you’ll leave with the freshest, most delicious produce around.”

With family-friendly charm and a focus on sustainability, the Newcastle Farmers & Artisans Market invites residents and visitors alike to experience the best of what local hands can create.

“There’s a real sense of pride that comes from knowing where your food and goods come from,” Marks added. “When you buy from a local vendor, you’re not just getting quality—you’re supporting someone’s dream.”

Located at 705 NW 10th Street, the market is easily accessible and promises a fun-filled Saturday morning outing for the whole family. While the market boasts a wide variety of vendors, no walk-up vendors are permitted—all participants must pre-register and adhere to market guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
