Boo-lieve It: It's Haunt the Park Time Again!

Get ready for a spooktacular time at the third annual Haunt the Park event, hosted by Newcastle Parks and Recreation! Join us on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Veterans Park for an evening filled with tricks, treats, and family-friendly fun.

Building on the success of previous years, which saw thousands attend, Haunt the Park 2024 promises to be even bigger and better. This year's event will feature:

• A Trick-or-Treat Trail where kids can load up on candy.
• A Kids Zone with exciting activities.
• A variety of games for all ages.
• Delicious food available for purchase from food trucks.
• A Costume Contest starting at 5 PM with prizes awarded in various age groups: 0-4, 5-8, and 9-12 years old.

“Haunt the Park just keeps getting bigger and better! We had a tons of people join the fun last year, and with the costume contest and new attractions this year, it’s going to be epic! We can’t wait to see everyone at Veterans Park!” says Kyle Marks, Director of Parks and Recreation.
