Community to see contractors in neighborhoods performing essential maintenance
The city's sewer system is getting back to its roots! From July 29th to August 2nd, residents may notice friendly contractors around town, accessing manholes to apply root control treatment. This preventative maintenance is crucial to keeping our sewer pipes clear and functional, ensuring reliable and dependable city services for all.
During this period, contractors will be visible in various neighborhoods, performing essential root control services to maintain the health and efficiency of the sewer system. In some areas, contractors may need to access private property to reach the manholes, but they will do so briefly and respectfully, minimizing any disruption to residents.
"This maintenance work is a vital part of our ongoing efforts to keep our community's infrastructure in top shape," said Jim Miller, Public Works Superintendent. "We appreciate the community's support and understanding as we carry out these important services."
Residents are encouraged to be aware of the contractors' presence and to allow them the necessary access to complete their work efficiently. The city aims to complete the project swiftly to minimize inconvenience and ensure the continued smooth operation of the sewer system.
