"Newcastle National Night Out - Join Us for the First Ever 'Touch-A-Truck' Event!"

We're hosting the First Annual Newcastle National Night Out – Touch-A-Truck event on August 1st, 2023, at Veterans Park. This family-friendly, interactive evening promises an exciting blend of public safety education, community engagement, and a unique hands-on experience with a variety of service vehicles.

Children and their families are invited to meet the local heroes of our community, including firefighters, police officers, emergency responders, and construction workers, from 7 pm to 9 pm. The event provides an exclusive opportunity to explore a wide array of vehicles such as police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, bucket trucks, waste trucks, and tow trucks.

We're thrilled to announce our "FILL THE BUS" school supplies drive as part of the event. Make a difference in the education of our community's children with your generous donations. We invite everyone attending the event and all local businesses to contribute. Your donations will directly support Newcastle Public Schools as they prepare for the new school year commencing August 8th.

We're excited to enjoy the scrumptious offerings from our food vendors, see the wonder on children's faces as they explore the vehicles brought by our Touch a Truck participants, and witness the generosity of our community during the 'FILL THE BUS' school supply drive.

For more information about the event, please contact Josh Bray at 405-802-4437 or Josh.bray@enel.com.
